Draft Class
How good a team can you build from a single draft year? Draft Class gives you a year, then a round for each pick. Your final lineup is compared with all valid combinations in that class, so you can see how close you came to the best team.
Your first game, step by step
Spin your draft
The first spin draws both a year and a round. Eligible years have an equal chance of being drawn. Only verified classes that can fill the entire lineup are included.
Pick one eligible player
Choose a player drafted in that year and round, then place them in a compatible open slot. The player list shows their eligible positions and career statistics.
Keep the year; spin the next round
After a pick, the year stays fixed. The next spin changes only the round. A round can come up more than once, but you cannot select the same player twice. Historical rounds keep their real numbers.
Finish your lineup
After the final pick, the game automatically projects your season and opens the result. There is no extra Simulate button. Read your record, class rank and score, then use the standard share or challenge actions.
NBA and NFL lineups
NBA has five slots: point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center. A player can have more than one verified position, but still takes only one place in your team.
NFL Simple has nine picks: one quarterback, one running back, three wide receivers, one tight end, one defensive lineman, one linebacker and one defensive back. These defensive picks represent their position groups in the projection. Unpicked support stays neutral.
There is no salary cap in Draft Class. NFL Pro is not currently playable because the historical blocking evidence needed for a full starting offense is incomplete. The public game offers the verified Simple lineup.
One round reroll, plus ways to recover
You get one optional round reroll for the whole draft. It changes the current round, not the year. The game draws only rounds containing an unpicked player eligible for an open position. If there is no alternative round, your reroll stays unused.
Picks are final once selected. You still get one optional round reroll per draft. A legal pick is allowed even if it makes another position harder to fill later; if you get stuck, use Start a new draft.
For example, a player eligible at both SG and SF may be your best option for either. Think about which position needs them most before locking the pick. Look at your remaining positions before spending the reroll.
What does class rank mean?
Class rank compares your team with every valid lineup in the same class, using the same scoring model and tie-breakers. It is not your place among other people who played today. Identical teams are not counted again simply because interchangeable slots can be rearranged.
A result might read: “Of 12,450 possible combinations in this draft class, you tied for the 5th-best team.” That is an example of the wording, not a claim about a particular class. First place is shown as “the best team.”
A great record and a middling class rank can both be correct: an unusually deep class may contain many excellent combinations. Rank describes how well you used that class’s possibilities.
Peak ability, season record and score
Player evaluations use the app’s historical peak model. The career totals on cards help you recognize and compare players; they are not the rating formula. NBA projects an 82-game season and NFL a 17-game season. These are deterministic projections within a saved scoring version, rather than a fresh random season each time you open the result.
Weaker classes receive a difficulty multiplier based on their achievable ceiling. It affects leaderboard score only. It cannot add wins to the displayed record. Draft Class currently ends at the season projection; this release does not include a separate playoff simulation.
Save, share and challenge
Unfinished drafts resume in the same browser. Refreshing a result keeps that saved result, while starting another completed game begins a fresh draft. Your shared card includes the year, lineup, record and combination rank.
A challenge gives your friend the same class with their own rounds and reroll. Draft Class appears in each sport’s leaderboard with Daily, Weekly and All Time views. Daily and weekly periods use Eastern calendar boundaries, and your shared display name is used across BKG games.
